Gold Medal and a Gift!

I am a proud Gold Medal finisher of the 2006 Winter Knitting Olympics! Ok, so is just about every other knitter in the world, but it's the only Olympics I'll qualify for in my life!

And holy smokes, I won a draw prize from Team Canada! I can hardly believe it! Doesn't that just look fabulous? I've been wanting to learn cables, so this is absolutely perfect! Thanks Team Canada donors! This one was donated by Knitty. Oddly enough, I just noticed that the book launch for Fiona Ellis' book is this coming Wed., March 8 at the Textile Museum.
