It's done! Yes, it's done, but it was a pretty close call. I was coming down the final stretch, casting off beautifully until I was about 12 inches from finishing. I underestimated the amount of yarn I had left and knew I wasn't going to make it. See what I mean?
It was quite a dilemna, but there was really no other choice but to rip out a row and do it again. A word of warning to anyone knitting with Fleece Artist's curly wool: Never put yourself in this position. It's one giant pain in the rear to pull that stuff out since the little curls cling like velcro, but I managed to do it. I'm pleased with the result! The only unfortunate part is that I will not be wearing this in the near future with this hot weather continuing.
For my next act, I think I'll be ordering the Florence Scarves Kit from Fiddlesticks. Probably going with the ruby red colour and doing the triangle version. I've never knit lace before and this pattern says for advanced beginners, so I hope I'll be ok.
