Jam Packed

This post is jammed packed.

First. Happy Birthday to Mrs. Peeps over at Koko's place! A sneak peek at what's in store for you tomorrow! Limo service will also be provided, so see you bright and early!

Second. The afghan, she is done and she is beautiful! I don't mind saying it, but I'm damn proud of her.

Third. The Lewiscraft by me is closing tomorrow, so stopped in to check out the deals and bought a pile of cotton in pretty colours. Whee!!! I may regret that decision when the bill arrives next month...

Fourth. I love the summer, so the first thing I do on the weekends when I wake up, is open my kitchen door and see what the weather's like and see what's happening in the backyard.

This morning I was doing just that, cursing the squirrels for foiling my latest bird feeder setup yet again, when this little man decided to take a stroll.

Fifth. Another reason I love the summer is watching the flowers that grow in my garden. Next up are the poppies. Just about ready to open!

That's it for now! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Wow, all these goodies! I'm still stunned by your afghan, it's a true piece of art, I adore it!
And that new yarn that you got, wo-how, yay for bargains! Looking forward to seeing what you're going to make with it!

The goodies were truly fabulous and thoughtful! Thanks so much!

PS. The bag contained, amongst other fabulous loot items, the Boogie Bag from the Team Canada Knitting Olympics which is FINALLY in my possession! It looks even better in person than in the pictures...
